Description:
To create a QR code to go to a channel, public chat, bot in Telegram or to correspond with a specific user in Telegram, specify the user name (@username) or the channel or chat or bot.
You can find out your username in your user profile.
If you don't already have @username set up in Telegram, you can set it up in your profile settings in the app.
If you are creating a QR code not for a channel, but to contact you directly, you can specify a phone number. The phone number should be specified in the international format - starting with the "+" symbol, without dashes and brackets.
*If you provide a phone number, be sure to check your privacy settings in the app. The phone number should be open to everyone. If you hide it or it is available only to your added contacts, the link with the number will not work or will work only for your contacts, in this case it is better to use your username (@username).
When using a phone number, users who have not updated their application for a long time may see an error message "Link expired" when clicking on a link. The solution is to update the application. The link with @username will work for everyone.
You can choose the color of the QR code. Click the buttons to choose a branded color - like the Telegram logo color. Or choose any color from the palette. If you use non-standard color ratios, you should choose color combinations so that a good contrast between the background and the code itself is maintained. If the contrast between colors is poor, you may have difficulty scanning.
